DH Jones FCA, FCCA
David Jones was educated at Christ
College in Wales, David studied for his articles with a
firm of accountants in the city and qualified as an accountant
in 1971. He joined the Practice in 1972 and became a Partner
in 1985.
David is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Accountants
with over 30 years experience encompassing but not limited
to Corporate Finance, Tax Planning and Management Consulting.
His clients include, developers, property consultants and
trusts.

JJR Austin FCA, FCCA
Jerry Austin was educated
at Morrisons Academy in Crieff, Scotland. He qualified in
1973 as a chartered accountant with a City of London practice,
which after a series of mergers, has now become Howarth
Clark Whitehill. Jerry joined Rushton Osborne in 1977 and
became a partner in 1980.
Although considered a general practitioner Jerry specialises
in Management Consultancy, Accounting and Auditing issues
and has a particular interest in IT solutions.

Key Staff
Alison Palmer FCCA,
CTA
Alison joined Rushton Osborne in 1984, qualified in 1988
and three years later became a member of The Chartered Institute
of Taxation. Alison leads the tax department providing advice
to companies and individuals. She is also involved in the
more complex requirements of clients in all accounting matters.
Alison's interests include motor cruising, films and she
is also a nidan black belt in Karate.

Gill Byles
Gill joined Rushton Osborne over fifteen years ago and has
headed the Payroll department since 1997.
Gill deals with all aspects of employment regulation for
clients drawing on her experience to assist clients when
necessary in this increasingly complex area. Additionally
Gill also deals with Company Secretarial matters and preparation
of individuals tax returns, and has implemented the online
filing in all three areas.
Gills' interests include fitness, travel, reading and Egyptian
Belly Dancing.
